Steps of the Fixed Teeth Treatment
The dentist evaluates your dental condition, discusses treatment options and creates a personalized treatment plan. A CT scan is performed to assess bone structure and accurately plan the surgical procedure.
The oral surgeon removes any non-restorable teeth (if necessary) and places the implants in the upper or lower jaw. A surgical guide may be used to ensure precision. The number of implants depends on your individual needs.
After implant placement, a temporary fixed restoration is attached to the implants. This allows you to function normally, protects the treated area and maintains the appearance of your smile until the final restoration is ready.
During this phase, the implants integrate with the bone, creating a stable foundation. Following your dentist’s instructions regarding oral hygiene and diet is essential for proper healing.
Once healing is complete, the final fixed teeth are placed on the implants.Additional adjustments may be made to ensure optimal comfort, function and aesthetics.
